Nettles Hair and Beauty was founded in November 2009 by Asha Bray and Helene Peake, with the intention of combining their ten years experience to create a friendly and relaxed salon with a high standard of hair and beauty treatments. Both fully qualified in their trade, Helene and Asha are both confident and professional individuals with a passionate desire to provide a personal and memorable service.

The design of the salon itself is a mix of contemporary and antique themes, from modern yet retro styling chairs, to dainty vintage tea cups. As a hair stylist, Asha has a creative mind which she uses to full advantage in her cutting and colouring techniques. Being a beauty therapist, Helene has an eye for relaxation and tranquillity. This is reflected in the ambience of the treatment room, with scented oils and fragranced candles creating a soft and soothing atmosphere. The use of only high quality, professional products means that results of both hair and beauty treatments are visible immediately, with the addition of recommended home care products to create long lasting results.

Products used include KMS California, Wella, Dermalogica and Nails Inc, all well known and highly respected in the hair and beauty world.
